Restaurant Zen

Located in the Oharano area of Kyoto’s Nishikyo Ward, Restaurant Zen offers an expansive menu designed to suit diverse dining moods and occasions. The midday selection features generous Japanese meal sets, including a tempura and sashimi gozen alongside dedicated tempura or sashimi sets. Diners will also find classic Western-style choices such as a pork cutlet set and a mixed fried seafood set, curries topped with fried prawns or pork loin cutlets, and both hot and chilled tempura soba or udon noodles, making it easy for multi-generational groups to find something appealing.

For more formal occasions and special gatherings, the restaurant presents seasonally themed set meals and boxed arrangements. Past spring menus scheduled between 2025/3/1 and 5/31 have featured the Spring Manyo Gozen, centered on Omi beef cooked on a ceramic toban plate alongside sashimi and tempura of sillago and bamboo shoot. The lineup also highlighted a Spring Shokado Bento packed with diced steak and bara chirashizushi. Seasonal promotions have extended to desserts as well, showcasing treats like strawberry pancakes, parfaits, and plated assortments.

Situated inside a hotel, the restaurant accommodates buffet dining tailored to different times of day, from breakfast through dinner.
